You may have first been introduced to George, under the moniker, "Tailor Made," when he starred as the winner VH1's hit reality show, "I Love New York 2"; one of the highest rated programs in the network's history (5.4 million viewers). Weisgerber subsequently appeared in several spin-offs of the series, which aired on VH1 from 2007-2010. Since then in terms of entertainment, he has appeared primarily in scripted television series, and independent films.
George is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, and still acts from time to time; however, his professional priority these days is social entrepreneurship.
Weisgerber is the founder of several successful startups, including digital marketer, Local Angel NYC; which helps hundreds of immigrant-owned small businesses engage customers online. George uses this experience to mentor aspiring entrepreneurs, who are looking to build profitable companies, with socially-conscious missions.
Weisgerber's passions include political activism, public service, and philanthropy. He serves on the Community Advisory Board for the Mount Sinai Health system, and was elected to the Democratic County Committee for New York's 67th Assembly District in November, 2017. Some of the causes that George supports are the Alzheimer's Foundation, the Rikers Debate Project, NYC Votes, the Viscardi Center, and Project Open.
George was born in Queens, and currently resides in Manhattan. He and his girlfriend have been together for three years. George's daughter graduated magna cum laude in 2017, and works for a prominent Accounting/Consulting firm.
